heres my second attempt at the rocker cover, this is the colour i will be going for so all comments are welcome but please dont tell me to go with the silver.

i liked both colours but when i got the HO inlet it was done in this style (black with silver) and i really liked it. I'm gonna keep it to this colour scheme now, i've got a few bits which cant be seen in the pics including silver strut covers with black caps on

and then maybe a few other bits and bobs. I want to get some autospecialist chrome/black and white stuff and hoses in the end

i like it but i think it would look better if you fitted a chrome cover to the spark plugs to hide the bright blue ht leads,

like this, i made this myself when i had my 2.0 si. you can buy a proper one that bolts onto the engine

my old Si and this when i had it , first had a matt black cover and this one used to have a satin cover, both were in hindsight pretty crap looking, a nice glossy colour is far better, black imo is a shame, colour coding or contrasting is best

i love how mine is with metallic blue cover, blue samcos and blue HT leads

any pictures?? i'm trying to keep it contrasting with black and silver. i guess once its in i can sort something else. where do you get all these different coloured high temp paints where i went there was only black, silver or red so far this is my favourite. would try a green but its easier to keep to black or silver throughout. i dont like it when the rocker cover is just a random colour to the rest of the bay.

mine and most ppls aint done with VHT PAINT, id unno how its protected, i didnt do mine bu its lasted all this time and deffo aint vht

first time ive seen this...

like the rocker, i would 'back to black' the induction pipe,
chrome cover on the ht leads and
then paint the pipe that goes above the exhast manifold (got to do that to mine)

out of interest whats the best thing to use to attach the 2L Maf, i was going to use the one i had but the size difference is much bigger than i thought it would be and it isnt going to stretch.
