mines been fine for over a year and half, excluding my little bump that ruined a radiator, it hasnt gone wrong not even once

my mk3 1.3 i had in green was spot on, so was my 1.1 and was my mk4 1.3

same as any car, you get what you buy, if it has a good service history you should get a peep from it

i think pauls probably had a wider range of smaller runabouts than you jonny but i do see both points of view. only even had one car but i know if i went for a fez it would have to be a minter as a daily so i didnt have to fanny around with it, and from what ive heard from other people, issues do arise but then again, but then again what car doesnt!

I think the main issue is rust, older fords are badly let down by it.

Yeah, fords that look nice on the outside, generally arent nice under all that shiney paintwork.

yea pauls had various makes, ive only ever had a ford

Well the corsa we got has no rust at all, the underneath its like brand new.
Newer fords seem to be alot better but older ones need to be locked away.
Pauls si has proven this and thats after 95fiesta si had it hidden away when he owned it.

i remember i sold my mate a bike which was legendary amongst my 'boys', worst feeling i ever had selling that. got it back the other week after like 5 years then gave it the gypos! didnt feel a thing but thats because my fifi has all my attention now so moral of the story is go sit in your rs and feel smug!
