unfortunately not much been happening with the ignis recently.

been concentrating on my fiesta track car project. so money and time has been spent on that recently.

really happy with the ignis as my daily driver now, its looking smart and its going really well recently, it seems to be getting faster and faster the older it gets. lol

between me and my dad we have clocked up 25000 faultless miles in it. its now on 60k and we have only ever put tyres brakes and i had to sort the backbox out on it.

might treat it to another service soon and maybe some tidy new rubber.

my dad gave it a wash on the weekend so heres some recent pics




also fitted some sexy white sidelight bulbs earlier lol

having 7j is pointless, if your avoiding weight, 6.5j is fine for 195 tyres

it amases me the attention you pay to your wheels/tyres, i never seemed to notice anything thing untill i either changed to good tyres or changed for bigger wheels

I always windered about the tyre wall stretching, i take it thats why the lower profile tyre is better at handling?
I derent ever change the st170s wheels, it handles really well with them, but i wouldnt mind some better tyres.

Cars looking spot on, i wish you another 25k(and more) of problem free driving.

Massive tyre walls do flex badly yea


low profile ones dont as much but offer harsher ride and are far more prone to a blow out, my brothers 306 has 17" wheels with 35profile walls, he has owned it 2 months and already suffered a blow out, bloody dangerous for winter
