- NSR inner arch / inner fuel hole, requires the NSR suspension turret to be dismanteled to gain access, which will also need welding back up. Otherwise it would be a rear quarter cut off and respray.

Thing is, the outside of the car is fine, so its not worth scrapping because of a little awkward rust.
Just had a quick poke with my hand while at work and it seems that its more below the filler hole, so might be able to do it from inside the arch.. its just minimal space, but with the shocker and fuel pipe removed we might be able to do it that way.
I'll just cut out whats crap and bang a plate in there, as its nothing to look at... Id imagine it'll be fun to get it to seal around the filler pipe, as I remember the inner panel being very close to the rear quarter panel when I ripped the RS1800 to bits... so might have to seal that in once its refitted.
I'll have to get the wheel off to have a proper look from inside the arch, as I didnt bother when I found it, just felt around from inside the boot.
The more I think about it, I reckon it would be doable from inside the arch without bitching the turret to bits.. we'll see.
Year or two down the line it would probably need the rear quarter filler panel repair anyway, so I'll come to that when/if that ever happens.

Oh yeah, also found something else to weld up..
I binned the heatshields cause they were doing my nut in, and found that at some point in its life it had been jacked up on the chassis rail.. which in turn has caused a hole.

Manifold was a mega bitch.. because of the way I had it fitted it made things worse... plus the fact you have to drop the starter motor to squeeze it in and out of the engine bay
Will post up a pic of the nackered one tonight, completely shagged to death!
Just trying to organise a new flexi to my specifications so I can fit that at the weekend to stop the exhaust twatting the tank and gearstick

Fucksake paul, theres no rest for you. Multistorey car parks are a bitch these days, one of my u clamps on my exhaust scraped on a multistorey car park, the focus isnt even low, in the past iv drove all the way to the top in the fiesta before the exhaust was shagged so they must have altered one of the ramps because it sort of looks like a speed bump at thr top of one ramp.

Yeah I'm getting pissed off with it now, not in the right frame of mind at the moment.. next thing it'll get burnt lol
The exhaust is tucked right up now, although a little too high.. once new flexi is on I wanna add a mount to hold it up and out the way of the gearstick... i cant use the original cat mounts as I don't have the s brace cause the ashley mani sits on it and rattles. And I can't be arsed to mod the ashley for the sake of a silly s brace.
Getting some mikilor T clamps too as they dont sit down like normal exhaust clamps do, which should stop me getting stuck again.
Another thing, once the coilovers get sent off, ill be raising the ride height a tad, looks good but I'd prefer the front to be raised a little.

Practicality is more important on the day to day, just make sure chris doesnt hear of this lol. Do those s braces actually make a difference? Iv always thought the fiesta needs a centre exhaust mount.

S brace supposedly strengthens the front end cause its connected to the wishbone carriers, although I'm not arsed. If I get one I could mod it to miss the manifold by chopping it and making it a tad lower where the manifold is.... but then that would be a target for things to hit... and then I'd have to remove it to do any exhaust modifications I. The future.
Coilovers will be near enough the same as now, just the front sits too low at the moment due to running standard shocks. Never had problems on the pickup or rs when I had them on. More and more speedbumps popping up around where I live now, and I'm sick of taking detours.
Once the exhaust is in a perfect position all will be well... my zorst does have a mount mid way down, so might fit one there and I want one up near where the flexi is, just to stop it twatting tthe gearstick.
Midbox needs moving further towards the sill too, as its twatting my already fucked tank.
Exhausts are my worst enemy, I hate pissing about with them... just my personal choice of always refusing to go to a garage when I can do it myself!
