i used to buy part worns, but my mate was a tyre fitter so sorted me out.

Jony i reccommend you buy brand new, the difference is huge! the rears are mis matched part worns i bought when i was skint and the T1Rs were fucked. Learnt from that mistake.

In the dry and wet i rarely get understeer the Falkens i got are awesome, just too bad there not on the back :(

i miss that car...

looks sweet those pics are awesome.. went for a spin to ikea did u?? lol

i had it sideways twice while i had it. once on a roundabout when it had tyre paint on the tyres (i wasnt even going that quick)

and the other time i braked wayy too late into a corner going through lanes, was sideways about 50mph lol toyos held on to the road awesome though.

but ive never spun in it... the back end was planted into the road like, but i did have the roll bar on it and strut brace.

gota have good tyres though...

cant be that good and planted then, ive NEVER even broken grip, only a few times going into a bend too fast and the front just understeers, or slamming on avoiding them stupid bunnies down the beach...

never spun, lost traction, back end out nothing, unless you guys drive like utter wallies :P

im winding you up :P

i remember when i used to drive the peugeot partner we have at work, when in the event of having to brake hard you broke grip easily in that, its like the brake acted like the accelerator lol

im just saying you had to really push the arosa hard to get it to oversteer. it understeered more but there wasnt much of that either.

it was very stable on the road unlike the ignis which can bounce around sometimes due to hard suspension.

you aint driving your fiesta fast enough jony! haha ;)

Might be down to you have Pov spec drums jony :lolz:

I think its down to the rear discs personally, as i went into the roundabout i dabbed the brakes a bit to slow me down and it bit and slid, didnt help that the roundabout holds water like fuck!

Oh and danny regarding the bmc i put on, it has made a difference mainly in the revs it doesnt seem to drop off till about 6750 now were as before it stopped pulling about 6500. also it sounds insane just a very loud induction noise haha.

its probs the tyres mate, having really grippy tyres on front and shit ones bak can be lethal, especially in the wet.

my fiesta used to be wild with falkens on front and budgets on back.

i noticed more power with bmc up top end as well.

and it was also loud! haha

we need another rr day lads!

i think the ignis is about 110 bhp now hopefully more. it goes well recently.

driving works rover 25 1.4 16v tonight, slow as fook!

how come some si`s have small drums? mines got the big ones on it (not for long though)

the one i bought to break had little drums.

your 1.4 has big drums?

see now im even more spun out, seems to be little correlation, i initally thought it weas just the ABS models, but many RS and Xr's ahve them which most dont have abs, mine does have abs and big drums so thats why figured

maybe its just an optional extra

110bhp would be nice dan :)

Yea they're tiny, don't think the larger ones fit under 13 inch steels , as they're just huge compared, and the Si, and rs have 14s

Hopefully got rid of my borbets, never like them that much since i had the car, couldnt sell them for love or money until now. Hopefully should be swapping them for a set of 15" OZ Superleggeras, Always loved these wheels and they serve a purpose for future brake plans. Also will tie in with my evetual theme!

Gonna upgrade the brakes, hopefully carbon skin my bonnet and my coilies.

Then start on the performance mods, wouldn't mind putting it on combe!
