Firstly let me add I'm not a trimmer so any advice taken is entirely at you own risk, myself and FIESTA-SI.COM take no responsibilty for mistakes or losses made by following this guide.
I fitted this nu-suede to a Fiesta mk6 headliner but the same principle applies to most cars.

I used Dunelm mill nu-suede and some e-bay sourced high strength fabric glue. Buy the best glue you can afford, you'll curse yourself if the fabric starts to come unstuck after a week!!

Firstly remove the headliner and place on a suitable surface. In my case the kitchen floor....

Take your material, I bought 3m, which was enough to do the headliner and a,b,c pillars, and place over the headliner, overlapping the edges....

I then pulled back approx ½ metre of material and sprayed the glue directly onto the headliner and my kitchen floor (be careful not to get glue on the face of your fabric)
Whilst waiting for the glue to go off stick the kettle on....

After a minute or so working backwards stick the fabric down carefully smoothing any creases out as you go. The rear two corners are a little tricky and will require a bit of fiddling to get all the creases out. Be patient it is possible!

Once you've done this make a nice cup of coffee/tea!!

Then fold the fabric back over the bit you've stuck down and spray the glue on the centre part of the headliner and wait approx a minute and repeat the smoothing/sticking process only this time working from the end of the first glued part forwards.

spray the glue on the remaining part of the headliner and work the material forward again. I did the centre part then worked the material forward into the sunvisor recess and over the light bulge....

With a bit of patience you should look something like this....

Finally its a case of trimming the edges so there is about an inch of overlap all the way around and gluing them around on the other side pulling it tight as you go, job done, time for another cuppa, you've earn't it (oh and if you haven't already done so clean all the glue overspray off the floor before you're missus/parents shout at you )

I would also advise painting the trim pieces black first. I left them on my radiator to dry for a day or so

Fitted....

how much did the suede cost you?

couldnt find any on ebay
