i love this car... colours amazing!! and i think its safe to say its the only si with tvr flip paint!

like the new exhaust, look good in 3"! and sound nice, im gutted ive lost mine!

its somehow dissapeared from my garage! still got the mid section though.

Also rewired the headunit, as I had a Ford to standard wiring adaptor, from that to headunit adaptor, which stopped my headunit from being pushed into the dash properly... so binned the ford wiring and wired in the standard adaptor plugs in to give some room. Headunit fits in now, and doesnt fall out onto the gearstick :lol:

Also... while doing the 2nd boot light, found a crusty bit on the arch... poked it and found my way through.. so another bit of welding to sort out.. checked the rest of the boot, and nothing suspect at all... weird

Boot light it a peice of piss.. and the rear courtesy light is also a peice of piss, just a ballache having to take the trim off and pull the headlining down. There is a recess in the MK3 roof for a rear courtesy light ;)
See this guide, I'd imagine the MK5 is the same... although I would use the MK3 style light instead of the fancy MK5 one, as thats huge. http://www.fiestaguides.co.uk/content/r ... light.html

All I did was get another light from a Ka (no mk3's in scrappers here) and robbed the wiring too. :lol:

Rust isnt too bad, just a pain in the arse :lol:

I wasn't sure about the sticker at first cause I like the uncluttered look without badges and stickers... think it'll stay tho.


Gonna pull my finger out and do the driveshaft tomorrow and see if my small oil leak is from the oil pressure switch or not (hope so!)

Desperately want to get the camber sorted, that's a good 3 weeks away tho, hope the tyres can stand another 1k lol

Mine have plenty left, I can just tell that its wearing more. I could pop in to get them swapped round if it'll be prolonged before getting the wishbones sorted.

Luckily I have a local place who can set them up!

thats the beauty of 30mm lowering, my tyres wear evenly :)

driveshafts aint that bad :P

cracking the hub nut is the worst apart, trya dn do it with the wheels on and it on the ground!, can use the brakes and weight then

This has now stopped the major shaking, although one rear brake is binding so I'm hoping the other shakes are from that (rs2k rears are going on soon anyway)

Worst comes to worst I'll swap the o/s shaft too.

Also one of the bastard heat sheilds has dropped onto the exhaust, sounds a right twatter lol
