them engines can handle shit laods, even the turbo ones handle abuse well so the non turbos will be fine

long as its been serviced, but buying engines on ebay that are out of the car always have their risks



that ines a bit expensive but looks alright, no gearbox, and you'd want to find out the mileage history first, or just go view it and give it a few cranks with a racket, nut would be 15-22mm socket max (zetecs are a 19 i believe)

about £60 beneth as has already been said, you need to check that engine over first. could be knocking or smokey as fuck, just because it ran doesnt mean its good lol make sure you get the ECU for it too

Can you not convert sams engine to efi or is it money and time wasting?

imagine you'd only need the inlet, loom and it should be ready to go, hmm

asked someone before and apparantly there is diffrences in the actual engine dont hold me to that though but the pistons/CR or someother shiz is different. as i said though could be wrong. but there would be no point buying my engine and then efi converting ... thats like buying a turbo lump and carbing it

fair enough to everyone but no offence to you sam at all, but if the xr2i engine is a better route, then whichever engine ill be going for will be staying, so ill want it to be the best out of the two. but then again £60.00 is hard to turn down
