brilliant price!

nothing quite like good stopping power, mine never fail to impress me and theyre only 260's and the larger rear drums but christ
im one of them people who enjoys a late hard brake now and then :P (when its safe to do so ofc, eg dry empty and straight lines)

Im a big bargain hunter on ebay :lolz:

Yeah my si had standerd 1.6 discs and the larger rear drums and i never felt the brakes were that great. Deffo notice the differance with 4 discs and ABS!

Felt the effects of traction control yesterday though, had some hoodys in a focus 2.0 at the lights on a damp road, the were looking over wanting me to give them a go so thought screw it, lights went green my traction control kicked in and cut my power! Was well annoying. But he only had me on launch, as soon as lift kicked in i just went passed him like he was stopped then just followed the line of traffic as most of my mates know i only use my power on clear safe roads lol he kept flooring it down the road at silly speed in traffic. Silly chav lol

Lol shhhhhh

I think if an officer saw you pull away at lights at speed they would prob pull you up for a word! But i have know people to put their foot down then get pulled by the police only to ask questions about the car and how nice the car is lol this is including my dad years back when he had a mk2 escort cant remember the model and police pulled him to compliment on the car and also gave it a good check over :lolz: haha but tbh most police officers will treat you with respect as long as you talk to them with respect and dont start kicking off because they have pulled you over :)

Ermmmm...i drive how i feel safe lol cant really say much on the subject.....limit is aparently going up to 80mph soon ;) lets just say i wouldnt every really go 10mph over the limit, Im not really one for speed, i love acceleration! :D im quite happy to sit at 70-80 mph on a motorway and sit at the speed limit on normal roads! and deffo think they should up the limit to 80 as modern cars are stronger and safer these days compared to 30 or so years ago when the 70 limit with introduced, may be longer than that, id say most cars built in the last 7 years or so are capable of 110 and over. if i have a nice national speed limit duel carrage way i like to open her up.

jesus, im disturbed by that video, i dont like looking at peoples faces before they die (well films etc atleast)

all them "kids" in the bmw died? the driver really over done it through that gap between the lorries, purpose built cars would have struggled doing that fully laden

ive done a few stupid things at speed in a car, but nothing comes close to that

i know what you mean about country lanes, we all let that collin mcrae out on them but its constantly in your mind that if someones coming the opposite way your gonna hit him, i try and only do it at like 3 in the morning if ever, hard chance of company then! :P

Just a little update

MOT PASSED!!!!! Not one issue with the car

MOT tester said "you've spent alot on this car havnt you, it seems like every part on it is brand new" lol think they were quite impressed as its 10 years old and done 105k! Also pulled up at some light and some middle aged guy said "thats a georgious car, how much do you want for it haha

Only one issue, engine management light, tcs light and vsc light all came on thismorning! Car still drives fine still hits lift so removed the plug from the maf and plugged it back in and the light have all gone off! Think i may need to clean the maf sensor! Dont know if the light could have been to do with the mot station putting £10 95 ron into the car when its supposed to run on v power..... But dout it. But the 95 stuff makes the car loose stupid amoints of power, cant hardly feel it hit lift! Cant belive how much differance v power makes!
