Well i managed to get the diff bolted back on and crossmember etc bolted up. Terry came down Saturday morning and helped me do the last few bits to finish it off.

So its back running and on the road again, but i have a nasty shake from my OSF wheel when turning and a funny vibration between 3-4000 rpm which i think could be to do with the cross member not being properly alligned, but that i shall sort next weekend.

Covered 160 miles since yesterday afternoon and managed 24mpg

What power is it at the moment? Are you putting more into it over the winter?

its rolling now, ive been driving it all weekend.

No more power planned, although i want more and feel its to slow, i say slow, not fast enough is better wording lol.

if i ever do go more power, i will build an engine from scratch and sell the one i have.

aleeeeeex !!! ... it feels ' not fast enough ' because it has less torque than an electric can opener BUT it has 2.48 times the power of mine (based on a figure between the two numbers you told me it was running) and tears new arseholes frequently .... and after the 4 wheels lighting up and making enough YB noise to extract spunk from my balls, you still have similar mpg to me i hate you but i also love you like a hooker loves baby wipes p.s. did the launch affect the shake at all ???

The shakes still there unfortunatly. Kind of just glad its running for the winter and if it snows

with the 3.62 diffs and 7800 rpm limit

1st .42mph
2nd .70mph
3rd .111mph
4th .153mph
5th .177mph

go for it. it would be good to see it flat out. dont think i have ever seen it out and about realy.

had the wheel off today and there is nothing untoward. Im going to take the wheel to get balanced tomorrow and see if that makes any difference
