thats not to bad really

not alot to report or to look at this week really
car has been in the paint prep stage with more rubbing down through all the old layers of paint (its had a good few coats in the past)
so it will be going in for primer and paint this week all being well

getting there

big update today
well the car is all painted and i will be getting it back next week
heres some pics from the body shop today
has all been given a good waxoyle including the bonnet aswell

top half of the engine bay sprayed as the bottom half paint is still very good












it will be flatted and polished over the next day or two and i will have it back next week

im really not looking forward to the bill mind lol

not alots been happening with the xr over the past month been busy wth my brakes and been on leave
ive still been collecting parts and went to pick up my coil overs yesterday and came back with this little lot

a pritty much new gaz coilover kit
set of new poly bushes
mondeo v6/260mm brake conversion new discs and pads
set of front hubs
lower arms with new ball joints and polybushes
front set of tie bars
and a set of goodrich braided hoses for a extra £50

also picked up a B&M quick shift the other week

also when the car was at the bodyshop i had them do a little mod to the sills and sunroof drain tubes.
so now instead of and water sitting in the sills it will drain straight out as the drain tubes are now sticking through the sills.

sierra cosworth shark tooth alloys (coilovers needed)
and the std pepper pots

i miss having loads of wheels lol i had about 7 sets at one point.. only got 2 now.

bit of a late update as i done all this last weekend
but ive started to sort out the car after not doing anything for ages
first thing ive done is give the bay a good clean down and redone a few bits of the wiring loom and re taped it

ive also stripped down all the front suspension and front hubs
good thing i did really as one of the front bearing was knackered
all the bits are getting cleaned repainted and poly bushed

new toy in the motorclub
