I was looking at EP3's when my engine blew up... :lol:

I'd have one. Only main mod I would do to one of them is put in the JDM gearbox that has a lovely LSD... Very good value for money these days

Good noise, no more oil leak! Camshaft seals have been changed, and so far so good!

Went out in a normal DC2 yesterday, and I must admit the only thing I miss is the sound of N/A Vtec - it's so much more throaty. Went out in a 245BHP N/A DC5 today though, and they are luurrvverrllllyyy 8-)

The crappy Eagle F1's on it were making it understeer sometimes, but it's more planted than mine due to the 17's, brakes better due to the Brembo's and much more forgiving with lift-off oversteer, along with the more sound-deadened interior, which is the pinaccle of Honda cars IMO.

Soo next on the list is the clutch.. With hopefully an uprated flywheel and uprated lower engine mount.

Not managed to do well on the planned MPG test this weekend giving out a few test drives... 130 miles is edging my needle towards the half way mark on my fuel gauge (50 litre tank). Oh well, maybe the next tank... :halo:

lol i know what you mean with the mpg test going to hell

i just filled up using 99 momentum thursday and i wanted to see if it got more miles from it, but ive been planting it too much seing if its packing more punch, its hard to tell but i think it does! seems more eager

your only able to run 98 or more now aint you Ry?

I can only run Vpower 99 ron on it just like before due to the high compression, but it's even more important to only use Vpower still.

2x Turbocharged Honda Integra's have died this year that I know of. One due to someone running the oil far too low and the other one due to filling up with Waitrose fuel because there was no Shell close by, which ended up causing DET.

How's the beading holding up Ry? Could do with another coat of that wax by now I imagine. Will start wearing thin as it's only had one application. Really need to do my own :lol:

Yeah it's quite filthy again now after all the weather - I need to give it another wash and wax at the weekend weather permitting. I'm going to order some oil in the next few days from Opie - Did you want to get some with me? A few of the guys at work need some too so shipping should be very minimal!

I only run shell fuel

bp if I'm desperate and if bp is nearer than shell to the point I won't make a shell garage, won't touch supermarket fuel, would rather push my car lol

Quality of fuel basically. Petrol station fuel is crap and contains olifines/olyfines. Not sure how you spell it now, but that clogs up the injectors

Shell are the only place local to me to do 99ron fuel.
Shell's Vpower have been proven to have the best additives in fuel.

I don't care what people say about Tesco 99. I get vpower points and I know that even Shell's 95 ron fuel isn't diluted with ethanol and other crap like Tesco's normal fuel is (and every other supermarkets fuel) hence I can trust Shell more than Tesco, and sadly no one else sells 99ron fuel.

Saying that, I've fuelled the fire now (AH-HAR!) and in my thread of all places, so if it carries on I'll move part of this thread to the fuel thread we have a few months back..

No fire no fire. I don't think tesco is particularly better than Vpower I just don't care which I use as I don't see a difference

Your not going to have the clutch in on time for sixfields are you?

Fancy organising getting us all up to the pod on the 2nd of october for RWYB? I've PM'd dave to put a thing in events but you could do it and bring this beast
