Don't get a paddle clutch!!! Whatever you do, do not get a paddle clutch. There's absolutely NO need for one on anything other than a track car or one that's launching up the strip 10 times a day. You will end up hating it seeing as it's your daily driver. My organic pisses me off sometimes because it's very much an all or nothing biting point, gets rather annoying when stuck in traffic.

Just don't ruin your driving experience going for way more than what you need!

From what I've seen so far, all the non-paddle clutches for my car only accept up to a 72% increase in torque capacity

standard torque is around the 130lb/ft region, and even my tuner has mentioned to not get anything other than a paddle or else to otherwise expect the same issues as what I have now very soon. I think it's going to be something I have to do - A few other turbocharged Integra and Civic owners have found this out the hard way as I've been asking around.

However on the flip side in 8 weeks time my workplace is moving... Around the corner. So my daily drive will be my bike as I estimate it will take me around 1 minute 30 seconds to get to work.. :lol:

Oh dear, that's no good! Paddles aren't the easiest to live with, but if you won't be needing to drive it as much, then I guess it's the only way to go for you

I think the ultimate goal on standard internals is a safe 330/350bhp. I want to get it RR'd in its current state though to see what my torque curve and my average bhp is now!

Hmm maybe we should organise an RR day for the end of the year, or maybe in the new year.

paddles arnt that bad. my last one was perfectly fine. they become even easier if you have a hydraulic clutch.

on the flip side to that my new one which is supposedly good for 550hp / 500lb/ft is abit of a pig

Driving it around like miss daisy to and from work etc at the minute. Filled up on Wednesday. Yet to see the needle move which isn't something I'm used to! Though the last tank which was just over half full on the needle managed to last nearly 200 miles and that was giving it enough death for the clutch to give up and playing about with a certain someones GTi-R

So my true MPG test has begun...

Yeah - still awaiting a few e-mails or calls back about clutches before I decide on where I'll get my new one from... At least it's saving me money at the minute if you disregard that it's killed my clutch.. Recouping a few of the pennies spent :lol:
