only been workin on it fore days now and im thinking about abadinign it ! every fucking day something else gose wrong or brakes and i can sort somethings but just dont have the money to sort others :cry:

went out this morning and my wing mirror is hanging next to the door ! FFS the cars parked on my drive , so prob my mum nocked it off

just feel to give up right no so far things to go wrong :
wing
wing mirror
bolt of the start moter rounded off
2 bolts on the gear box sheared off
put the socket rench thought the rad
the senser in the exhause wont undo
the 2 bolts holding the pipe to the manifold wont undo

the list gose on

think i need some moral suporte

to honest mate..........they sound like pretty easy jobs

just the wing that needs sorting really, the bolts are just a bit of a bastard to sort

mate if you are ready to give up after a few days i think your in the wrong game, i am not been critical. but modifing cars takes alot of time money and patience. i have been working on mine for a year and i am still getting parts together. its all worth it at the end of the day.

99.9% of us have all posted or thought about posting something like this, but 98.9% dont actually give up just like that. As said, it takes alot of time and patience to get your car how you want it to be.

Best thing to do is take a day or 2 break from it, do something else, then come back to it with fresh eyes. Even just leave it for a week, then decide. If you still feel the same after a week then maybe it'll be the right choice, but I bet you start thinking things in your head about what you should've done, or how you should do something planned, and you'll soon be eager to carry on with it

You can't undo stuff, or you hurl tools through the rad.

Like Des said, just take a break. From what I recall, you can't drive anyways can you? So what's the hurry?

Ill be your shoulder to cry on mate, seriously its nothing.

First thing ill tell you, when ever you are undoing nuts or bolts, that are rusty or appear to be awkard to get off, always use a 6 sided socket, if you dont know what that means, look down it, you should be able to count 6 flat edges, never ever use 12 sided sockets, they make nuts round off and in general make baby jesus cry...

The sensor in the exhaust is a 22mm spanner i think, yet again, put your foot on it, and suddenly and quickly force it, should crack it off if you get me.

Just take your time and invest in some decent tools if you dont have any, the halfords range are okay

always good to get a wire brush an clean the bolts of then use the wd40

and use leverage

oh n the 2 bolts on the manifold, im guessint your talking bout those springy looking things, just cut em off probably need new uns anyway i know i did they had rusted apart nyway! im not promising but i will have alook in my box of bits left over and if ive got some spare i will post em you?
