With the loom orderrs slowing down, im hoping to get a bit of a write up and pictures put up about what we went through to get her running again.

The oil leak is due to USING a gasket on the sump, apparently the 4x4s dont use one. Because there is one on there, its not compressing the half moon rubber seals properly and thats where the oil is coming from.

The head gasket on there is new, but ive been told by my tuner that its crap and has no fire ring so no higher clamping loads around the combustion chamber. Ive now got a victor Reinz multi layer to put on which has said fire ring.

The woodruff key slipped pulley twisted and valves mashed pistons. bent all the exhaust valves, and snapped one flipped it and mashed it into the piston.

Rebuilt the head, cleaned up the piston, then 52 miles later it span a big end shell. I got bored and drove it home flat out then broke it lol
