I fecking hate HIDS as well. You need auto sensing and level mechanisms with that crap.

Chipped ECU's - I wonder who really did come up with this crap in the first place!? I bet there's hundreds are forums all saying "wtf, that is a load of balls".

Oh crap iv just found out its an MOT failure if your car has a Flux Capaciter, hopefully the garage will stick to the speed limit and not reach 88mph and not notice I have one.

Maybe the way they would fuck you up with having a chip or remap is if your emmissions are too high.

My Scrote at the moment will fail the MOT due to the smoke test :lol:

i spoke to my girfriends dad last night who is a MoT tester, he was aware of the changes to, wiring, battery security, ABS lights, HID bulbs etc but didnt know or heard much about ECU chips so personally i think this one is a bit of a red herring at mo. onlyother thing he did mention was operational stearing lock which might be an issue for some with aftermarket stearing wheels
