It has a full stainless scorpion system on it which has a very nice grumble, if I do K&n it will prob be a panel filter to keep it looking standard

have now got an hks mushroom filter on it an it seems to of opened it up a little, standard box must be very restrictive!!

its putting a smile on my face so money well spent so far..

reason i ask is that you not a slight fellow are you. i found the seats quite tight so was interested in knowing if you actualy fit in it?

Pmsl, yes they are a snug fit. Not too bad for town driving as they pin you in on corners but I imagine long motorway trips could be a tad uncomfy..

if your getting the cambelts done then make sure they both get done. there is another at the other end of the engine that drives the other half of the inlet cam.

but putting the headgasket issues to one side then the k series is an awesome engine power for size wise. who else gets 105 ps from a na 1.4? a really nice underrated car imo and if it's been looked after properly then im sure it will be a great little car for you.

To rebuild?

Couple of hours spare this morning so had a look at the few niggles.

Result is the rear wiper now works, was a split wire so all sorted now.
Also the central locking now works fully as the drivers door didn't unlock, turns out a plug had come loose.

Nice simple solutions so far, just the aircon to go now which I'm hoping just needs re gassing..
