I'm new to the site and thort I'd show everyone my old project, pics and spec are below!

Pics ::

Spec ::

Engine: 1196cc 8 valve engine with 4 speed gearbox. Custom Boxster style powerflow back box (Loud). K&N filter, uprated spark plugs, HT leads and steam cleaned engine bay.

Suspension: Lowered 40mm on gmax springs, standard shocks.

Brakes: EBC Front discs with Green stuff pads painted yellow, rear drums painted yellow.

Wheels/Tyres: Dare RLS 15" multistud alloys with Avon ZV1 low profile 195-45-15 tyres

Bodywork: GSI front bumper smoothed with cut out and astra mk2 reiger splitter, Abyss rear bumper and side skirts, Gsi rear spoiler with Mondeo estate style spoiler on top. Colour codded handles, m3 mirrors with built in indicators, clear side repeaters, rub strips removed. De badged meshed grill, smooth boot and aluminium fuel cap.

Interior: Standard spin interior, Momo carbon effect gear knob, sports steering wheel and boss kit, Vauxhall mats and 4 headrests.

ICE/Security: Kenwood D mask headunit, Kenwood 10cm 110 watt front speakers, Pioneer 180 watt 6x9 speakers in stealth shelf. Custom boot sides with Kicker 220 Watt amp, 12" Pro Plus sub in enclosure, Centurion 5.6" TFT Screen mounted on dash connected to PS2 under passengers seat. Sigma Cat 1 alarm and imboliser with petrol cut off.

Sorry it's not an si but I started the project when I was 18 and needed something cheap!

I'm now after an si for a project, hopefully a 1.6!

Are they good cars?
