get some 195/40's on there jony scrubbage is all good, get some decent coilovers with bump adjustment, set it on hard, slam it to the floor and all will be good lol. rebound adjustment sucks, unless you have really hard springs, then its good. I could talk about suspension all day lol

This is a comparison.

Cammed 1.8 zetec with breathing mods your looking at what 135/140bhp?
Cammed 1.6 16v (Vts/Gti engine) with breathing mods your looking at over 150bhp easily! ill clarify with my mate and try get hold of a graph but his Valver'd quicksilver is cammed and pushing 162bhp! And with a JP4 head (C2 vts head) you can be looking at over 160 very easily due to the bigger valves etc.

You really need to wise up to the fact that the 1.8 zetec isnt gods best invention! christ id put money that a S1 Rallye 1.3 100bhp would enhiliate your si on track with the same mods.

its not that i love french cars etc. i love all cars and something that makes me this "Jesus thats fast" regardless if its a ford or even a fiat!

Another fact for you that proves not all "smaller" capacity engines are slow. the B16a5 engine found in JDM Civic 1996-2000 is a 1.6 and 174bhp standard and redlines at just under 10,000!

It interesting you mention the JP4 head, thats exactly what I have. People assume the C2 engine is worse but it is the better, just the C2 is heavier and geared differently.

Still torn between cams or a V6 in the future.

Like the video, very much like my fiesta sounded back in the day.

Ok then the one vtec engine i did mention is rare and JDM.

But even the B16A2 engine found in the early Integra's/civics is still 161bhp.
And the fitting of the valver into any sort of french car is a peice of piss! Another local boy has a VTS with alot of headwork and throttle bodies in a 205 Rallye! started off as a 1.4 8v and the 1.6 16v was straight in the same day the old engine was taken out.

i love ZVH that are 500 odd bhp, but look at the lengths you have to go to, the money that needs to be spent its phenomenally expensive.

i really think you need to open your eyes a bit more. even jason who is a ford nut through and through and has had 2.0 si's a 2.0 mk2 went and bought a Williams clio 2.0 16v and he said it was leaps and bounds more responsive and just so much rev happier than the zetec.

Mate i love fords as much as you do. but the end of the day im a car enthusiast not just a ford fanboy, anything that is fast and makes me say "wow" is my type of car whether its a ford, vauxhall, honda. just anything.

and my 2p worth is that for bang for buck you cant beat french.
