Well we had a few issues getting the car to run on the Rolling Road, first getting the straps to clear the car to tie it down properly

Then when the ESP was switched off, like most cars its never fully "off" So, as the rear wheels were not turning, the ESP still cut in when the Monster guys got the front wheels spinning, after a few tries with different things, we were contemplating pulling a fuse to try and disable the system completely to run

However Ford and the monster guys weren't happy with this and feared the power would be cut by about 40% with this anyway

So, it was taken back off the rollers, much to my annoyance, but allowd others to run while i rang round and visited STOC for some possible answers

After getting Pumabuild Focus specialists to speak with the Monster Operators it seems we could press and hold in the ESP button on start with the car in 4th gear rather than starting from 1st and building up, so it went back on the rollers again to try this method

Thankfully this worked a treat, so it was strapped down for 3 runs to get readings

Unfortunately not what i hoped for, the reading was a bit iffy and the power was down substantially, however upto about 4-4.5k it was running fine

Should have continued up beyond 4k but doesnt only making about 230bhp, should be nearer 260-265

However the torque was just awesome, one run, the first one, no doubt with cooler intake produced a -whopping 330+ lb ft torque

I think a custom remap would be better than plug in jobs, but a lot of other ST owners believe that higher up, especially made worse on a rolling road, hence feeling better on road, i would be suffering very bad inlet temps on a standard intercooler on DSCi map

This may very well be why it didnt produce a high power at higher RPMs, either way i will besorting this out

Another issue is clutch slip with all that torque now on tap Think that has to be a priority now along with 2 rear tyres, oh and tax and insurance next month

Hope Des and Adam enjoyed the passenger rides, tbh i think adam got the better ride, clutch smell was kicking in after the second run lol, however it exploded the sat fuel out the exhuast when leaving the pub exit with Des Gotta love it, need an exhaust big time!!!

Also an update on the tyres, the Micheli Pilot Sports are brilliant on the front, so much better than the cheapos

But because the rear tyres are still on Acellera's i daren't put any effort into making progress on any road, especially in the wet, in the wet driving normally on back lanes is dangerous if it werent for the ESP

the torque has a use

that it did a good job or towing an escort

350bhp but thats pushing it

Yes 350bhp is about your top limit for the turbo and i believe the injectors can't do more than about 330bhp

Not sure which order the list of plans will run, im always hanging around the forums waiting for deals or group buys which save money

All i can say is atm I have got 2 group buys which are Very good deals on order this month, but im also trying to pay off debts earlier so mods will come 1 by 1 methinks

just hurry up i want a spin
