As tital says, does anyone play street legal racing redline? its a game from i think 2001 so quite old but it has the best car building ability on it that i have ever seen! the basic game is pretty poor and out dated but modders are still working on this game making it more and more up to date, its FREE to download aswell! there are so many cars to download and build on it now, and for all you ford lovers there are fiesta XR2s, XR2i's, mk1/2/3/4/5 escorts, sierras/cossies, anglias etc etc

Here are afew pics to show you what you can do with it in basic terms.

Start with your basic shell.

Buy your suspension set up and brake set up, there are about 30 diff spring/shock and brakes to buy
Image

Build your engine and fit it to the car, engine building is amazing, you start with the block then you buy pistons, cams, cranks, pullys, bearings, gearbox, manifolds etc etc just like if u were building a real engine, have to make sure you buy the right parts otherwise it wont run!

Buy a set of wheels are tyres! loads to choose from again!

Buy all your body panels, load of diff kits available but i went for standerd cossie.

Then get your lights and windows.
Image

Finished cossie, once finished you can tune the engine by upping the boost, retarding the cams, changinf gear ratios, upping the rpm(can end up blowing the engine to bits lol, enit suspension camber, caster and ride height

Then once you get your car all built you can race it, loads of track to download including the top gear test track where you can race the stig!

Anyway thought is share this with you as i get hours of fun building cars on it, also the damage model in the game is really realistic, if u crash at 100mph your front end will proberly end up on the drivers seat!

its a good game quite complicated due to the amount of detail on everything but once you get to no it then its good! if u need help putting cars and tracks into the game ill make a guide for it.

heres a focus rs i just built, running a 760hp turbocharged 4 cylinder! with 4wd

Heres the xr2 quick build, dropped the rs engine into it as couldnt be arsed to build a new engine for it :lol: 760hp goes well in it, cant grip the road though lol

i know! i have only downloaded hi res 19" wheels ad hi res 16" wheels and the 16s were the compleatly wrong offset set stuck the 19s on lol all the other wheels are realy bad quality ill try some other 16s on it and see how they look after fixing the car! :lol:
