DA means Dual Action. Your 'cheap' one you used should do the same, instead of going around in a circle like an angle grinder for example, it oscilates - basically so it doesnt stay in one spot for too long, less chance of burning the paint.

No orbital goes round in a circle ( i think) DA stands for Dual action, goes up down round and round.

I'm pretty sure orbitals ain't directly round, as most planets orbit I. A oval looking motion ya know?

Anywho my mate come through I can pick up the buffer tomorrow but I gotta get the foam pad, what do I need a medium or light?

i'd start off light, what you gonna use? you need quite a harsh cutting compound then work your way up to a finishing polish. you cant just use any normal polish, Sonus do a 3 step thing.

decided to use the proper camera as my phone just wouldn't do these shots justice :halo:

only one side and rear done so far but im so happy with the results, it really has given my paint another lease of life,

as for youtube erm i think you put the tags with just the video ID in it. so on the url it says something like youtube.com/watch?123456 just copy everything after the ? so it looks like .... im sure thats how you do it for this forum, different forums use different ways lol

nice job that jonny. how did the corner where the rust is come out? i have exactly that in exactly the same place, did a 'DIY' job and it was shit, that seems better and looks more professional if that makes sense!

if you think your paintwork is bad wait until you see mine...
