oookay
starting with my back passengers half (front end is fine tbh)
heres a pic so you know why this needs doing, and why i try to bury my head at shows

ive been so ashamed of the paintwork on the car, the first owner loved this car, spend loads on it and had it serviced annually as you should with any car
the second was a carpenter or painter and decorator, evidant by all the paint spots and wood shavings through out the car and boot when i had it
he didnt care for the car so much, used it as a run around more or less and it has dings, scratches and badly attempted touch up jobs, not the tough up pen, wet and dry and buff job your meant to do
which results in its bad paint, i didnt make it better when i fucked up with the body bond when i applied the arches, the sratches above the arch in this pic are from me trying to rub away the glue
so anyway amoung other scratches and blemishes its in dire need of a a buffing around the back half of the car on both drivers and passengers sides, and it will be done ready for ford fair so i dont need to be ashamed
pics
areas where scratches and after some 1200 wet and dry

this is after the arch gets its buffing after the wet n dry

after some T-cut, which done next to nothing really

Today as i was buffing i was also spraying, rust has come through on the bottom of my drivers door so this was getting some attention, was blistering through the paint, but its solid

masking, Kurust, and some wetting

Primering, painting and then lacquering

just in time for tea this, so tomorrow after some hardening it will be wetted back and buffed to blend it in
in the middle of the spraying and buffing i done this too, only the drivers for today, done each of the three on this side

today then i began using 3M cutting compound and my electric hand buffer, only a cheap one with a cotton cap on it

Got my New welder set today, its an Arc this time, still need some 1.6mm and 2.5mm rods before i can use it, have plans to make a engine standard, and a engine hoist

never used arc before though, after some reading up i understand you start it off by striking the rod on the surface like a match

very exotic compared to a mig

Got it for £40 at a market brand new it is

all for today/yesterday
