Is this the way all car manufacturers will go?
Do you think it's a good move?
How does this compare to being forced to switch to DAB in the future?
Personally, I like my CD's. When I buy music (or anything for that matter), I like to have a physical object in exchange for my hard earned. I've never been a fan of buying music online for this very reason. Single's, yes, I could do, but albums? Nah, I want something to hold, artwork, little booklets. But then, maybe I'm old fashioned in that sense?
But if you think it's the way forward, to go digital, then you can't object to the whole DAB thing surely? You will say CD's to digital is the way forward, well surely analogue to digital is the way forward?
Are we now edging ever closer to an entire "cloud" based lifestyle? I personally hate the term "cloud", it sounds so uber gay - but I also do not trust it so much. But there again, the benefits of having access to anything and everything, anywhere and everywhere you are, are great! Is it secure though? Sony's PSN was secure. Right up until the point that it got hacked.
What do you lot think of Fords move towards getting rid of CD's then?
