Did you support the car up by the rear beam? I had issues trying to support my car for arb removal lol.

Rust doesnt look to bad, im sure youll get it sorted.

got car back from MOT today..... failed..... :halo: :lol:
1) needs both rear wheel bearings replaced.
2) Now has hole in floor curtacy of mot tester... :0 :lol: i thought it would have though....

new bushes everywhere
new drop links
new cv boots
loadsa welding and undersealing
lol fingers crossed

my bearings seem ok :hmm:

like this car mate is it getting the 2.0 litre treatment?

:lol: ahh that takes me back, i remember getting my first Si after driving a 1.1 for a month, fucking unreal! the interior was the biggest impression on me :D

is it lowered? with 195 15 " wheels!

just got a text from a friend of mine who is viewing this topic saying, that atleast the rust is on my footwell (drivers) and not the passenger side that she'll be sitting in if ever wanting a lift :doh: :lol:

ok other thing..... i know theres a guy out there who makes stainless stel arb brackets.... now anyone got his number? im after a set of 4 but unpainted so will be raw look (wont rust because its stainless)
worth doing the powerflex upgrade bushes on the arb as well whilst its off??

was a bitch to repair myself and i just plated it :(
dont do that though cut it out
