Hi iv come across an escort 130 ecu, the code on it is 2fc9 iv been told!

Can anyone shed any light on the specs of this?
My rs1800 engine is non pats and external edis. I'm just wondering if this ecu would work on it! Been told it's from a k plate escort!

yeah that is an 1.8 mk5 xr3i, has no pats and external edis, so only controls the fueling, will work with the early rs1800 loom

No worries buddy, Doesn't really matter what engine it is as all zetecs are pretty much the same apart from the rs1800 1.8 and 2.0 from a mondeo which have piston oil cooling jets, electrics wise it's identical, theecu you use depends on the loom
