got myself a difficult decision to make,
after today ive had enough, the Si rattles and creeks which just does my nut in, im too anal and im constantly seeking refinement from it
but im beginning to think that you cant get it from a mk3 fiesta, i think i can stop my pop outs creeking but my seat, my sun roof and all the panels will still make noises
tax is up end of the month, so before i simply renew it, and then take a new policy come the 11th of aug as quinn want over £2,100 to renew! (found another company for £985! fully comp!!!)
so do i just renew the fiesta, and try and either sort some of the noises or deal with them?
Or
i can get an mot done for £35, so do i tax, mot and insure the Escort instead, it will cost £50 more a year to insure it, and use that for now, lay the fiesta off the road into the garage?
i believe the escort will be more refined, ive not driven it much but from what i can see and hear it is,
the Si has sports suspension, and coupled with polybushed top mounts and lowered it makes for a bumpy right, as many of you chaps know
the escort is only a sapphire, so no sports shocks, but it is lowered 60mm, however it is still much softer, bumps dont echo through the car
but i cant bring myself to swap the fiestas suspension for sloppier stuff, as it will fuck up its good handling
so thats my choice, but if im to choose the escort, ill first need my log book as its still not come through!
