Update progress has been a bit slow recently with the xr2i main problem was getting parts but now got enough parts to have the zvh running

Had a mate off mine make this downpipe out of the old t2 downpipe to fit the t3 turbo i've fitted

A quick vid of engine running


Still got a few more bits to get and fit to engine like beige injectors, stage 2 chip, fuel pump and a fan switch that turns on the fan at a slightly cooler temp as it gets abit hot with the t3 turbo only a few mm from radiator

Good work, Alot of time gone into both cars! i know what its like doing the wiring loom when its not labled! did it with my celica but i found that it wasnt too bad as pretty much every plug was differant apart from about 3 so you couldnt really plug plugs into the wrong place! :lol:

Good work, The Fester should go well with that engine in.

You didn't hang around with the Impreza engine swap. Is it running a TD04 or TD05 turbo as it looks like the earlier engine.

apparently the engine was a v1 sti engine according to the guy i bought the donor vehicle off not sure if it is one but its a very quick lol not sure on turbo think its a td04 been meaning to check

Looks like a WRX or Turbo 2000 engine. STi engines usually have red inlet manifolds, or rather flakey red inlets :lol: !

You could have either turbo on that year, if its a TD05 you're good for 300+ bhp with the right mods ;)
