To add fuel to the debate about Si's being available in odd colours:

I saw this in Hastings, East Sussex the other day. There's also one around Paddock Wood (Kent) area:



(It looked like they'd kitted up an M Reg Ghia to make an Si)

It has bump strips down the side for starters, and there are no arch spats on the front wings.

And it wasn't made in radiant red or whatever red that happens to be

All the silver ones are Ghias with Si bodykits theres one going round here.

The later Ghias have 1.4 and 1.6 zetec engines like the Si's anyway. So I guess the only difference is this doesn't have the Jigsaw Raven interior trim and the nice Si seats.

There's normally some odd coloured cars going around. There is about 6 Radiant Red Saph Cossies about. This Si is not a proper Si, but I'm sure there'd be some weird ones, there is always is with Fords. End of the line, they just boot them out in any colour
