update finally got the rear quarter painted on the runabout and got the kit back on used this stuff for stickin it back on done the job perfect only cost 7 quid





the paint match was good but i didnt mask it up to well

also been having a nitemare with my si had a missfire / hold up when cold so treid a new air temp sensor on the inlet no luck, then drove to burton power and bought a webber coil pack for just under £50 the car struggled all the way back and was getting worse



still no luck then it got so bad there was no power, rac guy came out and jus disconneted the maf, and that was it

decided to order a brand spanking new one from fords £143 later





runs lovely now, still got steering issue to sort fingers crossed it will be sorted by the weekend

good stuff mate, like you said sometimes the only way to sort something like that is to buy a brand new one, especially mafs and iscvs... pitty theyre so expensive


i fucking love this car so much, still remains my Si idol

glad the run around still lives, last i heard it was due to be scrapped

oh thats a odd one for me, never heard of a rack being out

decided to take some recent pics of my si











then at ford fair bought a chome jack and battery surround to finish off the engine bay, not fitted in pics yet and also at ford fair bought some ford badges for my gti wheels im not sure i like them but they are slowly growing on me





then finally got the last of the adviseries from last mot on the runabout sorted was to fit a proper secure petrol cap as the last seized and i damaged the filler neck removing the seized cap, so replaced the filler neck with a new cap and key





and while it was out i gave it some paint under the rear arches



all back together



has some hassle as the small breather pipe on top of the tank came off so had to lower the tank down

some pics of it sitting around but should be back on the road in about 2 weeks

Looks good Phil £143 for a MAF sensor... bloody hell lol. At least you know its new and should be good for a while Just remember to keep it clean

I'm personally not overly keen on the badges on the wheels, they look really strange and out of place...

sadly im against the badges myself, a mate had some on his 16" version on his RST and they really let them down imo

im interested in the lights buzzer, or shall i say chimer
