Had to go back for a misfire - turned out to be ignition amplifier

now the passenger window doesnt work, screen between rev counter and speedo isn't working, slow puncture, wheels need balancing, starter motor whines a bit - want it all sorted

Plans:

Induction kit - K+N Typhoon as it goes down to the bumper
maybe exhaust and hoses
Remap?
uprated headlights and foglights
potential lower on springs
maybe refurbish wheels
silver indicator bulbs
clear side repeaters
tinted windows
get rust on roof removed
generally tidy the car up - maybe get it detailed
uprate the numberplate lights to LED's
CD Player as a cassette player does suck
uprate the speakers maybe

couple of pics on FB but it goes back again today and needs a clean so when it is back i will clean it up and get some pics. Love the engine - the 1.8 Turbo does shift even with only 150bhp! - and the chatter noise is addictive. i'm aware the 1.8 turbo lump is very tunable - but it is reliable so will do little things but want it to last - love how it drives - it is so quiet and comfy inside!

Sounds nice, how would you describe it in comparison to your st as they have similar power?

well the pull of the turbo means progress is good - the ST was more revvy and speed wise i would say they are similar - just the A3 has great tuning potential and is more comfy and relaxed

Having a comfy ride is very important when your using it everyday. Remap is definately the way.

and well getting it fixed is priority - then little things such as numberplate bulbs, headlights, indicator bulbs, clear sides and a tidy up

when i had a passat on courtesy i loved it everything is so solid but that did only have 3k on the clock lol

i do miss fords - the audi is lovely to drive, comfy, quiet, long geared, handles well (if a bit boring)
