bit more of an update now.

the engine is fully run in and had an oil and filter change yesterday. had my first "race" as such against a mk4 golf 4motion, it was pretty even till i got scared and gave up :lol:

while i was changing the oil i gave it a wipe down underneath as shes been in the rain a couple of times! luckily the only thing that was a bit dirty was the exhaust so that got a wipe and clean up along with the suspension as thats yellow :lol:

couple of pics from work on the ramp

then i took her to Sams after work and gave her a wash ready for a meet, turned out as so

the plate was taken off to show a mate what lies behind it

also popped to brands hatch the other day and made a new friend who showed me around this

terry and sam will know who i mean too :lol:

the front end is how i would like mine to look soon but i want fogs still attached and my number plate off to one side

which brings me to the last part of the update....... new plates

there only show plates though not actual private plates

Such a lovely motor as said before and glad it's got a good home where the owner is going to look after it :thumbsup:

IMO keep it as it is maybe change wheels but I would keep it looking as standard as possible and maybe a few under bonnet mods eg.t3 and plenty of chrome or carbon :thumbsup:

I'm running with a few ideas. Unsure whether to leave it as it is. Or go for a side mounted plate and chop the front a bit. Not much but something subtle that people will think is standard

Also I'm pretty certain what wheels I'd like on there

Unless I can find a bumper that's already been cut and painted to how I want I'll be keeping the standard one for now as I don't want to cut it if I can help it 8-)

Wheels front I'm feeling a set of S1 alloys diamond cut just to be different

Also on a side note I've been starting to tally up a kill list. Best so far is a mk4 golf 4motion 2.8 V6 :devil:

he was a bit surprised when I was keeping level and looked really upset afterwards :lol:

If it were me I would keep the front end standard looking mate, I would only mod it if I had to fit a FMIC for a T3

They do look good with the offset plate tho 8-)

Loving the wheel idea, would look lush on some diamond cut S1's :chill:

And nice one with the golf, should have bought a Ford :lol:

Like I said unless I can find a bumper that's had the work done already I won't do it as I don't fancy cutting and blending my current bumper :lol:

Offset plate will be done if I can get a cut bumper so for now it's just a scaled down plate in the original place 8-)

Thanks mate. Me and sam thought long and hard about what'll look good but also a break from the norm

Yeah I can't stand golfs to be honest. :chill:

Also had a play on my way home from a meet last night with a cooper S :wack:

not racing literally just enjoying the back roads. God I love having an RS :lol:
