The only thing iv got bad to say about the vts/vtr is the pedals are a tad too close together and the gear stick isnt the nicest shift in the world but these things you can get used to.

i dont like most reno's and most citroens, so yea its easy to say thats a generalisation of that company, like fords are all very similar, a fiesta is a little focus, a focus is a little mondeo, little kuga, little S-max etc etc

some use the same chassis, some use the same type of interior, all are built in the same way, unless theres a massive age difference

i just dont like them companies so i dont really want to give them a chance, the new DS3's for example are completely different to any other citreon ive seen, but i still have little interest in it coz i know that citreon wont have made it much different just because it looks so different

All he is doing is stating his opinion, if you think hes not letting anyone else have theres then iv seen you write many things worse and quite blatently insult people with your opinion.
Both in standard form a saxo does handle better. If anything a zetec s may give it a challenge going off many articles iv read but thats only because of the better components over the mk3.5

Yeah drivers a huge factor, especially in gear changes.

Sorry if I upset you Jony, I may start colour coding my posts to show opinions and facts and where they are the same thing.

Much of my post was opinion on why I did things, they are very closed statements as I know I have done the best for me along the way.

As for the Saxo chassis being a better chassis than the Mk3.5 that is factualy correct and quite well documented, Yes the Mk3.5 can be modded and with the right parts be amazing but its still not as good, ie the mk5 zetec-s with traction control has trouble staying with a saxo. By all means we can debate this as a board and post evidence and see where it leads if you like?

I do agree about the driver making a difference as I never have hit the limits in any of my cars (as I don't dare) and I am well aware some inferior cars with drivers who push it to the limit would have me. On the flip side I am very good with gear changes and can get a good jump on many in a straight line.
