how do guys
been bit busy today, hate crawling around on the floor, and 5 hours of it is a bit of a beating
but im almost done sorting the exhaust so its sure worth it
got the car up in the air, got the second part of the four branch off, then removed the stupid joint
and then took the section and the new joiner upto my mate grayem for the welding done
after a cut to size i ended with this

all done welded up to it, and a new hanger, new slots cut into the end piece for clamping



began to shape the hanger


by constantly referring it back to the hangers on the S brace



im just glad it all clears

after that was done and offered everything up under the car, i noticed everything was too long and would not piece together, and also the midsection was out of place and needed aligning.
so i removed the entire midsection, and left the backbox there

split the midsection in half at the joint, ready to make it shorter


i still have plenty of it left if i need to extend it when the standard downpipe/cat goes on for the MOT
with the section back on the car


i refitted the midsection, slotted it into the new joint that was welded to the four branch, fits like a glove, backbox refitted and im happy with the result
the exhaust joint was ordered from MIJ Exhaust, a shop on ebay etc and i woul highly recommend them, they do custom orders like mine or off the shelf parts and a wide variety of suitable pieces of exhaust
no more knocks and bangs, and the backbox is centred in the hole in the bumper, which is good
tomorrow now i will quickly take the bits apart to apply exhaust sealer paste as it is slightly blowing still
