not bad is it considering he make sit there and then for you, mind when i had mine done for my mk4 they did take a while :( was there for about 3 hours

the torque is expected though mine ran 150lb+ and 140 bhp+ before it came off the road and thats with kent cams and a chip :blahblah:
as on all silvertop zetec engines the inlet is the big restriction you wont get much more than 150bhp without goin carb or tb's

yours is a 2.0 though, they always have more torque, mine had more torque than a tuned 2.0 on bodies...

the restrictive inlet on mine creates that torque ( i think )
and i like that torque :chill:

youth lol, he was in his 30s he did have his brake discs on the wrong way though, the groove was facing the caliper, when its meant to point away :o
few people do that

but it was a nice car, he was expecting 185bhp, only got 166 :/

your right though, the H.o inlet is good for torque as it flows good, but then when its coming ou the back pressure gives it the torquey ness

but considering mine has a decat, hence less backpressure, it still made very good torque


on the 1800s after you put the cams in they dont gain much torque (sad i know but its the same on forza lmao) as it tends to lift the power band further up the rev range

Won't get much more from the RS1800 engine without alot of work IMO.
Mine made 129bhp and whatever of torque and that was HO inlet, 4-2-1 mani/decat

yea? who said money was the issue? you said id need alot of work to see more

bolt on a set ob bodies, with a omex 600 and it would be around 150-160 id imagine not that i have 2.5 grand to spare haha

just dont agree that theyre not tunable...

You could fit ITBs and megasquirt for less than a proper off the shelf setup costs. Which is what I would do on an otherwise standard 1.8 zetec.

But anybody thinking that a zetec with 200+bhp N/A is cheap and easy, is stupid.. specially making one driveable!
The cams needed for 230-240bhp mean you have naff all power before 3500rpm!

You would lose power.

You need to raise the ratio for high N/A power.

You lower it when you want to turbo.
