The only thing I've driven slower than a 1.1 Fiesta is Bryce's Corsa. The 1.1 was a Popular without such amenities as intermittent wipe, a cigerette lighter and a glovebox. I think it may have had a clock. It was awful, the Si feels like a different car. I can't imagine someone in 1990 picking up their Popular Fiesta, driving from the dealers back home, and feeling it was Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£8000 or whatever well spent. :lol:

Ry might've driven mine. Not sure. I pissing rememeber he drove the XR2i and nearly killed me

Never letting him drive one of my cars again. Dread to imagine him in the GTi :cry:

My plan was to give it a full service, clean it and get rid of it in Feb, which would be exactly a year since I got it, but am pretty busy in Feb so will probably end up selling it late spring/early summer.

Looking at getting an S14 200SX next but seriously considering a Golf GT-TDi as it will do twice the mpg my fiesta currently does. Yes I know diesels aren't that fun but the Golf Diesels have a stupid amount of torque.
