1- 30ish
2-60ish
3-90ish
4-110ish
5- i wont lie to you (i had 126 on the clocks, down a big hill lol)

well the average i get is 128mph but i did get 130 on day on a less windy place

standard Si box mate

obviously the more power of a standard 1.6 enables me to push further in each gear, where as a 1.6 might top out of puff at about 5k mine can do about 6k in 5th
(example)

yeah thats what i was thinking....

i need more ooomph from the ignis, its lacking top end. i can only get like 112mph!!! and down the same stretch of runway ;) i could hit 123mph in the arosa.. but it did have a de-cat which made all the difference..

few pics of my holiday in Pembroke last week ( or the week before :S )
changing a few sensors to try and cure its rough idle, no win

stayed with my relatives, they have such a beautiful house, which he built himself

found the rear tyres on the standard rims were balding on the inner shoulder so they're off!, not risking that again after my last Si crashed thanks to that very reason
was cleaning them as i done the car, come up nice :)

the spares for now :(
Image

boatesta :P
Image

for 103k this car is good and rust free underneath
Image

pictures of it with the xmas tree wheels, theyre god ugly i know but, considering this is the best ive seen them suit something apart from a lowered mk4 :P
good picture of the M4 behind me
Image
Image

the 55 profiles are HUGE! and they rub quite a bit on the front arches, so theyre really not much of a replacement
Image

will see about some new tyres for the GTi wheels soon!

Get on camskill for tyres! I just paid £46 a corner for falkens!

The Rosa is surprisingly smooth at high speeds although I won't touch that speed on any public road.

my mate gary is sorting it out for me.

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=22493

he said its like 30-35 quid, 2 runs

hes got a mondeo st tdci with k&n panel, bigger intercooler, full exhaust and de-cat and map, should be not far off 200bhp,

my ignis with the bmc filter (which i think is restricting it so it might be going back standard) lol

hopefully kris will bring rosa along (im interested to see what thats got coz its frigging fast for what it is)

and trying to get my mates to bring his cooper s with piperX panel and JCW cat back.

other than that probs just loads of zs lol

since im meeting a few lads Saturday, thought id attempt to tidy things up a bit, sadly not a respray but this will do haha

bloody headlamp has been cracked on the plastic on the top, which lets water in, i tried to seal it with silicon but was a no go

so swapped the preset adjusters over from lamp to a replacement lamp

and it went from this..

Image

to :)

Image

Image

now some might have seen over ont he FT stand that my arch was in a piss poor state, after a mate buggered a effort of applying bonding glue on, which went everywhere and i didnt notice it till it was set and hard,
but my reletive in the body shop trade when i went on hols suggested i try a eraser and warm water as a lubricant and it shouldn't damage the paint

so this is before i started it

Image

few durings
this is selotape resedue
Image
Image

and the actual bonding glue (much like tigerseal)
Image

the tools :P
Image

result for today
Image
Image
Image

as you can see almost all of it from the arch itself has been removed, in 10mins or so

so i went to tesco to get a few more rubbers and im calling in the folks tomorrow for more pairs of hands :D

Image

this is what ive been doing this evening however

going to make it into a night stand perhaps :P

my spare 1800 Zetec head :) would remove the valves too but i lack the tools for that

very excited about this rolling road day on sat now, bring on the rollers :D

come on elward ya gotta go! see if i make or break for yourself and all that lmao

Christ did a blind man with trees for fingers do your arch? lol easiest way is a dab of tigerseal on each stud, its more than ample.

If its tigerseal you used its a Fucking nightmare to get off, you could try a good clay bar as a rubber might be too soft.

I wanna come to the RR but its 3 days before payday so probably wont get it on as its like £35 might just pop down and pay to get it done ill pop down though as i literally live a stone throw away lol
