Hi - got an M Reg 1.6Si in petrol blue, about 45k on the clock but just failed MOT due to engine problems - smoking, oil leaks, 3 cylinders. Ran fine until recently dunno whats up, but the mother in law was using it lol

Apart from that it needed some other trivial stuff (welding, suspension joints) but the engine is the main issue.

Got another car for the mother in law and my tame mechanic is a Rover specialist - so the Si has to go.

I can probably help with trailering so long as not too far - I'm in west midlands.

Anyone interested in making an offer, get in touch

I'd love to put some pics on, stainlessmole, but I cant see how to upload them. They were too big for my Avatar. I dont have any way of getting them on a website.

If anyone is interested I can mail them.

Price? Well that depends on what people will pay based on their judgement as to the engine!

It needs to go as a job lot festaman - cant break it on the mother in law's drive she'd go nuts. I already have an allegro rolling shell in her garage....

Sorry - sold it to some bloke who said he was going to repair it but it ended up going straight for scrap. Much to my disgust.
