I got 9.1 out of my ZS with shawspeed cams and a massive flat spot.

Surely it wouldn't do much better? I am interested to see, bring on FF.

Apps and ford fair both arent accurate, as everyone will know. At least with ford fair you get a rough idea as to what it is even though your time is slightly faster than what it actually is, where as with an app you cannot rely on that one bit, ive managed a 8 second with apps before :lol:

Funnily my car is actually hobbled on the 0-60 times (I think they did it on purpose to get it a low insurance group), as it is 2nd gear runs out at 57mph.

In short I need to be in 3rd to get to 60 where many cars can do it in 2nd.

Makes the 0-60 time slower having another gear change.

As you say you can't get the same grunt in a group 8 car anywhere else.

More the point is 0-60 isn't everything, as I say the C2 is can win a 0-57 and lose a 0-60, likewise many cars are geared differently so its never a simple comparision.

As it is I have a device which does what these phone apps do, still got it from back in the day.

My point it when I had the fiesta, I would keep 2nd gear for my 0-60, yes it would be just off the power band when you hit 60 but it would be quicky than changing gear.

There is a tip to improve your 0-60 Jony.

iggy loves to bounce on the limiter as well.

my 1.4 would even do 60 in 2nd jony!! it was way outter the power band though. cvhs dont like revving!

doesnt matter what engine it is tbh, its the lentgh of the gears that determeds it

tbh ive never tried in this car, i rarely drive it like a hooligan :P

but my last Si would top out just before 60

ha done it today :)

had a new part worn fitted, knocked the chap down to £15 so im happy with that, 185/55/14, hankook

then went for a spin down the motorway too check the balancing, and thought id do the gear speeds

went like this

1st: 42mph
2nd: 64mph
3rd: 85mph
4th: 105
5th: 130mph (done another day)

:) so next time i do a 0-60 ill stay in 2nd haha might break the 7's :D

that is all :)
