Right, next monday my car is going to be cured of ford aids

I've got it booked in to have both wings, both inner and outer sills, both rear arches and the boot lip replaced welded and sprayed

And when i get it back probs next friday or the following week i'll take some piccy wiccys and attack the sh?t out of it with joint seal, underseal and stonechip - as it's going to be covered with XR/RS arches and skirts anyways
And then i'll put a second coat of underseal on the underside to make it nice and black
I've already done the rear inner arches, forgot to do pics but it looks nice

Place called select autos under the itchen bridge, been there before to get a few bits sprayed up. Done a good job and reasonable prices too

I'll take a pic tomorrow, the leather has been going weird for a while, it's probs just wear and i doubt there is any way of restoring it, without getting a new one... major problem arises or sourcing a new one, the FSi one i have is rare a fook, as it's navy blue and has the ford badge on the wheel itself, not on the airbag D:

sounds like a 94 ghia steering wheel as its leather as only the rs1800 ans ghias has leather steering wheels i think.....

I think mine was an optional extra..

I thought all Si's had leather wheels too lol, until i looked in the scrappy the other day and saw 2 with rubber wheels

yup thats the wheel, certain ones had a recess instead of the embossed badge, and in it on some models again was a small ford badge

but that was mainly RS models, and i believe the earlier escort cossies had them

Same steering wheel in my rs1800 plus mine has gone like that aswell but don't want to change it till I can find another that is the same lol

Spoke to a friend today about it and he said he saw on an episode of wheeler dealers, that they had a weird rough sponge to roughen up the leather (to like suede) and then used a special wax and then it was like new... i'll seach on youtube one day

Problem guys
My drivers side headlamp keeps blowing, i've gone through countless 10a fuses for it and i looked at the H4 connector and it was a little bit crispy, so i changed that for a new one today, and i tried it, and it worked for a few mins... but then it blew again...
What could be causing this, do i need a new loom, better earth, god power?

And then it shat it down with rain so i couldn't do what else i wanted to do to the car today
On the plus side i sorted the squeeking coming from the aux belt.. lol

Check earth
Check wiring - all the way to the fusebox, then check it in the fusebox too.
Check relay
Check to see if the £1,000,000 is in my bank that I telepathically asked you to send me.
Check current to the connector on the headlight bulb
