i got it from ellesmere port so who knows it could be the same one. must have been in knutsford at some stage too.

also just to add i know this is just a 1.3 but it's just so much more enjoyable to drive than the si. the old hcs has so little topend power that it just makes you feel proud of it for being able to hit 60 lol. but it's the reason why i am writing this so early in the morning. it's so economical and generally amusing to drive on a decent road that i just find any excuse to drive it for hours on end pointlessly.

i would do it if you took the mk1 dave, would i get an award for least powerful car? cant come to sixfields either because i am going to santa pod to see some vauxhalls with a mate

and i agree loumiester, when you have had wind deflectors you cant go back. it's like your windows are naked without them.

oh and on another note pov spec brakes are dangerous lol. the point was proven by a dead bird on the road

Well. Obviously with deflectors it isn't.. But the noise of the wind in the side of your ears then

but wind deflectors double up as rain protectors so you dont have to stick a umbrella out of the window when its pouring down with rain and the rest of the northern lot decide it's a bit wet

i thought zs's had aircon too? but still aircon just creates more problems as cars get older

plan for sunday morning is to get a set of feeler guages and set my valve clearences and fit a new rocker cover gasket as this one is leaking. seems i cant buy a car that doesnt leak oil
