well i got everything ready to start stripping it of parts today so thought id have a proper gander at the dodgy rear
and you know what........................................





i can live with it so its staying lol i dont know wether im comin or goin ha

anyway i started cleanin parts up of the oil which made a mess and just tidying the bay up then 2moz im gonna put the flucker bk together and see what happens
things i know it needs

wishbones
front shocks or springs or both
rear brakes need freeing up
gaskets for exhaust inlet throttle and rocker
and 4 tyres on my rs rims
but ill rob the 1.1 steels for now lol

oh and the 1.1 is now being scrapped 2moz after i had a good prob and created some stylish holes
looks like my car has been shot up.........................when it was new

shocks are g-max and are not leaking or anything but the springs have seen better days there fallin to bits lol

err larkspeed rotherham myt be able to get them, i know lk performance can get them in cleckheaton, there about 30 quid for the floflex ones but ya cant go wrong with new standard rubber ones for about 8 quid each id say

did a fair bit yesterday

undersealed o/s after much prodding and it was very solid

moved onto the n/s and not so much solidity there

asked the neighbour for a hand and he happily welded me 3 plates on the inside and 3 on the outside of the front n/s sill

its proper solid now

gonna finish off the undersealin 2moz and get the engine and box cleaned up ready for everything boltin bk together
then hopefully off for mot on which it shall not fail i hope

glad its getting back on track man, shame about the 1.1 another mk3 of four roads is never a good thing

god that light blue si all chaved up was a heartsore

got some more bits done today MORE undersealing (its nearly all done )

lower rear suspension is on and the beam and arb have been painted black
although i need an arb mount for the rear with the thick plate in but apparantly there not made anymore
ill have to see if my local ford has any old stock then if not see if i can speak to ashsi

front o/s is all bk together apart from the arch liner
just waiting for my neighbour to patch me a fookin mahoosive hole up i found on the n/s and all is good

oh i do need a new drivers seat though
for some reason all the stitchin has come un done and the fabric is fallin off lol oh well ill slap a load of pics up when i can be bothered they wont be in order or of me doing anything just different stages of buildin shiz

this should be bk on the road in 2weeks max and i cant bloody wait
it looks different be warned lol
