it just had to be done... thats it for stickers now

well by the sounds of things, it needs more fuel top end.... so I'll knock the boost down a tad (don't like it boosting off the 20psi guage ) then get the max fuel screw inside the pump wound up some more, and wind the pre boost screw down... hopefully a little less smoke

Shall be modding the fuelling and boost this evening, less pre boost fuel... more max fuel... adjust actuator becaue its boosting to 24psi in 5th, so that needs to calm down!!

Gonna mod the intake pipe, so its straight... which should make it chatter.. well the pickup used to.

Also ordered some length of 2.5" mild steel exhaust pipe...... so I can de-box the exhaust ready for the RR day - should wistle (and probably smoke) like a fucker

Saturday I shall be getting a driveshaft from the scrappers to hopefully sort my shaking issues!

peaks around 20psi in 4th, goes off the scale in 5th, so prob more than 24psi

Evening darlings,

Jam was right, soon as I get a MIG i'll be trying to weld EVERYTHING.

So 1.5m of exhaust came in the post today.. removed mid box... was going to mod a bigger tip onto the backbox but it fell off, so added pipe there too!!!

Sounds like a right beast! (camera is shite at picking the sounds up tho..)

(smoke will be getting turned down asap... lol)

To rebuild?

Went down scrappers saturday and got myself a new set of stalks (because mine have melted and rendered my dash lights and half my lights not to work)... was going to get a driveshaft but couldnt be arsed.

Went back home, thought oh I best have a look..... found that it my n/s shaft doesnt have much play at all like I thought it did... drivers side... foooooooook up and down play on the gearbox end, seriously fucked
Went back, got a shaft.. yet to be fitted.

Eyed up the Mondeo leathers, and realised it will be hard to make them work with the escort subframes, so new plan on that... need some FSI Wingbacks.. they bolt straight in with no messing

Need to sort fuelling asap... its using too much fuel pre-boost, which isnt good for driving around at less than 50mph
