whens the snail getting bolted on?

Should know when it's being bolted on by the end of next week!

Just won a programmable ECU on eBay, so just need to order a conversion harness from the states shortly and then the engine management side of things is sorted!

Small update. My gauge holder for the dash has arrived! Waiting for delivery of my ECU and conversion harness

Yeah got some pictures, will post some up shortly. My car also has USDM amber sidelights now.

Harness arrived, and goes with the ECU perfectly.

Just need to get my rear brake discs and pads on, RTA bush on the rear, gauges fitted in the interior, a few new engine mounts and a couple of other things... All in June...

...As the car is booked in for early July Can't wait. Booooooost.

Only a small update.

As I already have uprated poly inserts stuck into my gearbox mount, I needed to refresh my other worn engine torque mounts. These ones are slightly stiffer than OEM, but it's hard to tell if they are or not as I'm replacing worn OEM with new ones anyway.

Gearbox feels smoother and tighter, which is nice. used some Gunk on my engine bay to clean out all the oil - I now have a better idea of where the leak is, and thankfully it's only the sump pan gasket which is being replaced anyway when I have the sump tapped for the oil temp sender and the oil return line. And topped up my gearbox oil, needed an extra 100ml or so.

Then did a bit of a test mount for 3 of my gauges:



Also also just had my rear brake discs and pads done today.

Next on the list is to get me all wired in for the gauges, then it is time to say bye bye to my car for a while whilst it's having a snail fitted.

nice work there ry, have you got anywhere else to fit the gauges? i like to have mine at eye level so i can have a quick glance at them
