Hi all, I've been told that the Ashley exhaust systems together with the 4-2-1 manifold are a load of crap.

Does anyone know weather this is true, as there mention to be too thin and not do the job properly.

I do believe they are good systems but aren't stainless so its worth checking it over fully.

They are the only people that do a 4-2-1 manifold and complete system. Doyluno if the box st170 or the escort 1.9 manifold will be a direct bolt onto engine.

They are good but as andy says, they are only made of mild steel so will rust

As above, but if you only use the manifold you will need to mod abit to fit to the existing exhaust on your car (eg. flexi)
ST170 manifold you need to mod to miss the front end of your car.

Got an Ashley system on my si mate and it's bot a bad system. But as has been said before they're not stainless but you get what you pay for in the end and I personally think they're worth a shout
