Shame about the FITP dropping out i too was looking forward to a gander at the car :( On the other hand the pics look awesome mate especially the 3 wheel photo :D

Passenger rides in this would be immense :look: :P

DArren doesnt help when ive giot the cold in the video footage, im talking through my nose in the video, sounds nothing like me, im normally very articulate :insanity: :insanity: :insanity:

been doing some work to the focus RS today, try and put my own touch on it


first of all got the front window tinted, its a 50% film and i personally think it looks a lot better, very discreet

also painted the front calipers, and fitted silver centre caps to the wheels, ive also done a template for the caliper for the stainless steel plate just like the RS500, ill do a couple tomorrow nite at work, ill do then with stainless 316 so wont rust

its made such a difference to the car as the calipers where all surface rust , and the locking wheel nuts had surface rust too, its amazing the difference small things make

been told by the organisers of the Anglesey event that it will be open pit lane, so thats fantastic, can go out first thing in the morning and learn the circuit, and then can go out later and push a little harder

had the car at Simons custom exhausts and got my exhaust modified as it was very very quiet, wanted it to have a litttle bark to it, sounds sooo much better, and found a little bit of rot on the back chassis leg behind the exhaust , hiding away, so thats my job this weekend repairing that, and some other wee bits and pieces i need to do to make the car better

hope to see some of you guys over at the show in Wales, we will be camping saturdsay nite and staying Sunday nite before driving the 6 hours to get home on Monday

Thanks Dave, hope you could make the show at Anglesey, thats me booked the hotel, and this will be my next time out in the Fiesta

]I was getting the exhaust modifed , and when he removed the exhaust , we seen a bit of rot hiding behind the exhaust, so i decided to do the job right, and drop the back axle off the car, along with the tank, shocks and filler pipe, so i could do the welding, and then get the whole underside of the car wire brushed and ready for some underseal and paint

took all the paint off from underneath the car with a wire brush on a grinder

this was the rot that was hiding

when i removed all the paint , this was a little soft, so decided to repair this aswell

all welded , just need to underseal the whole back end now

looking good dalsy!! shame about the rot but an easy fix though!!

and the rs is looking good, i thought 50% tint is illegal?? and shock horror kerbed rs wheels you better refurb them lol

yep front windows are illegal, but not too fussed really, had them on my BMW convertible for 7 years withouit a dig :D

yep wheel is needing done, its the only one thats damaged, and bought the car with the wheel needing refurbed,

Fiesta wasnt long getting repaired , started at 11 and finished for 4 , will need to get some paint and sealer and get the back axle powdercoated , just like the front end

thats it all painted and sealed underneath, axle and ledas back on, and tank all fitted, just need to bleed the brakes back up, replace the back shoes and front pads , and im good to go again

Looks great, tidy work there.

Is the wire brush on the grinder all you used to strip to metal? I wouldnt mind having a bash at this minus the welding as I wouldnt know where to start lol.
