Got my leon liquid gauge from racediagnostics and installed it today in the drivers air vent and tested it. Very impressed with it and all its features. Even used the vag fault finding to tell me what the orange light on my dash was. Turns out glow plugs 1,3,4 need replacing although i reset it and the lights gone out for now anyway.

Seeing as mine is a diesel some features such as lambada, exhaust temp, engine misfire, timing correction dont work, but i do get the following:

Engine crankshaft BHP
Engine Crankshaft Torque
Turbo Boost Pressure
Turbo Command Pressure
Mass Air Flow
Air Intake Temp
Coolant Temp
N75 Position
Dyno Plot
Oil Temp
multi display
0-60 & 0-100 runs
speed & RPM digital display
VAG rest and fault finding codes.

changed the front tyres for 2 new Toyo Proxy T1-R's shocked at how badly damaged they were with the tracking out, had the tracking done too. Bad news is 3 of my alloys are buckled so had to use lots of weights to help balance them, so i will be on the lookout for a new set of 18" rims maybe even 19's.

just a small update.

I have a nice black interior except for the roof and all the pillars etc are grey, so started to upgrade to some Leon Cupra R parts which are satin black. Changed the A, B, C pillars, grab handles, door seal trim, light\alarm sensors, headunit surround, vanity lights, sunvisor clips, interior mirror. Just need to dye or cover the roof lining, get some black electric sunvisors and wait for the main front interior light in black to arrive from VW. Also fitted genuine VW middle sunvisor and sunglasses holder where the drivers grab handle goes.

ok, i covered the roof lining in black leather on stuck it on with superspray adhesive and cut to shape

just need to order the black sunvisors, sunroof switch and dye the sunroof shutter

Looks really good! Always have a soft spot for these though mind. What uprated turbochargers do people put on these TDI engines, if any?
