Ben, basically when you lower a car the stock camber gets altered resulting in inner tyre wear so if you fit adjustable lower arms you can regain the stock camber.

I need some as my tyres where ridiculous, I check them every time I drive it now because they can be hard to miss unless you park with yours wheels turned all the time.

If they are standard arms then your tyres will wear in the inside, just look how bad the camber is, you may get away with it depending how low you go, ill stick a pic of my camber up on my thread to show you.

In short to rebalance your camber you need to shorted the lower arms when you lower it.

actually no its not the lowering, its only down 30mm, which isnt enough to do that, fucked lower arms and bad tracking done this

done the lower arms about 3 weeks ago but didnt get it tracked, so this happened



shes off the road now, literally, in the garage and insurance is swapped tot he escort, sound system is removed tot he escort and she will get some TLC soon enough

As Jony said, a 30mm drop on a fiesta won't make a huge difference so don't worry, as mentioned further up other factors can cause tyres to shred and if anything the camber difference just says which part will wear first (inside edge).

well the escort is off the road, this is back on, one big nightmare im trying to set right, so bare with me


few things the fiesta is in need of attention with

little list, none of them major but niggly and anoying to have

in order of immediateness
the exhaust is rubbing on the S-brace , brace needs to come off and sorting
the dial kit needs removing and setting up right as theyre giving off readings, tacho, temp/fuel, speedo is accurate
the drivers recaro seat base has broken, so i need to fix that as im relying on a cushion atm
need to do the tracking
tighten the handbrake cable at the lever
bleed the brakes on each corner, the bite is way too low, only effective at pedal to the floor
order the drivers interior mirror panel from ford
adjust the tyre pressures- 28psi is the plan
my rear heated screen button backlight is gone, anoying
and i want to remove the fiesta decal from the boot lid


then refit stereo, including front speakers, headunit and sub

then it needs tiding up ready for the first show on the 2nd of may

god this has been a while left


just pulled a 0-60 of 8.26 seconds, very happy

using Ulysse speedometer on my HTC, its a GPS tracked speedo timer and odometer, its available on android market

i know i can do it better too, there was no countdown and i had the handbrake up to prevent rolling

bring on ford fair for a more accurate measure!!
