ouch lou, i was thinking it was going to be expensive! my mate bought a 1.8 focus, insured for about £2,300, he has 3 points the lot. suppose it is an st though.

bit of an update (will post pics later as per lol!)

bought some gel overlays, metallic blue with black ford writing, look good, haven't put them on yet.
new fiesta-si.com sticker in blue, 'retro fiesta' sticker in blue (want the si to be seen as a retro fiesta, such as the rst, xr2 etc) will be locating them on the passenger side of the front windscreen (this is legal right?) not sure about the policy of sticking stickers in the front window! ta chaps.

not much happened with the car lately mod wise. needs a good wash before i apply the gel overlays etc so that will be at the weekend possibly!
on another note, went to birmingham today to pay a visit to good old tango, and returned with some tasty looking coilovers


alll came with new collars and dust covers and stickers thanks again tango!
quick question, the longer springs go on the rear, and the shorter ones go on the front? thanks

a while back i delivered yellow pages, did the same again this year for some extra cash and it gave me the bonus and taste for a slammed car hence why i purchased the coilovers...


got a bit of a bonus when i was down there too, as i've gone off my multi spokes and always wanted a set of rs2000 rims, i luckily found some on ebay in birmingham not far from tango, messaged the guy, sorted out a deal and boff, £80.00 for the set, all good tyres with plenty of tread (although i will be changing them to a lower profile eventually) so yeah, very chuffed, that's pretty much my list sorted, bar a few bits and bobs


also a quick picture of my sprayed steelies in the matte black...

and fitted to the car (which i didn't like)...

lmao thanks lads:P i knew quite a few people had them but they just look solid, unlike my multispokes. plus there ford alloys, not some aftermarket rims so it will be easier to blag on my insurance if i need to!

i was thinking white after seeing chris's, but my whole theme is blue and black. got a wee bit of a plan. the matte black paint i used for my steelies, i have loads left, so ive sprayed the center caps and painted the ford emblem blue - biggest pain in the arse, and only done one ! will see how it looks tomorrow when dry because wiping over it leaves an odd finish!...


will spray one wheel matte black tomorrow to see how they look!
however in the first picture you can see where ive wiped it, but that won't come off. any suggestions?

any idea on the coilovers chaps? and do i only need copper grease for them, no other type?

i like the centre caps, was thinkig of doing it on my wheels if i ever get them white, would do them in imperial blue to match bits in my interior or red for when i do my calipers and arb.

Im off for 2 week now so if you still want them seats you can get them whenever and even fit them here if you want.

After sending as much as I did yesterday, I'm kinda skint, if I have the 20 next week then perfect. When you off till?

Cheers chris, need to get a spanner to adjust em! Well I need new wishbones too so get them next week so hopefully after that, can't wait. And yes, was going to do it with the multispokes but couldn't find center caps to fit! Pain in the arse to do it, think you would need a very small pen but would probably work like. You got the service done?
