Quick update, my grandads friend has sorted out the rusty hole in my front arch corner. this was the last piece of rust on the shell and was probably the worst bit at that. Im really happy now its solid metal again and looking good. Pics to come later

A few other little bits, i have now recieved a full set of Ford mud flaps ready to fit when i get a chance (Thanks to Tonwah for a hasty service)

My Gdads mate has also taken hold of my new rs turbo bonnet and is sorting out the rust and then spraying it for me (£40-50 for full works, i'm happy with that considering all other quotes hav been around £120 just for paint) am now thinking if the jobs a good'un i may give him the skirts and archs and ask him to finish them off for us tango as its getting on my nerves

I've decided to get some heko wind deflectors after next payday now Dave G has told me the doors are the same on mk3/4/5.

big save is needed to get my coilovers back from Avo so hoping to have them ready for fitp but may not be on until ford fair.

Just a quick check; the colour code for my car is C 5 that means its colour C from the year 2005. when i had my arches done i was told the colour was petrol blue but i've seen that there are 3 different shades of petrol blue, is this right? how do i find out which is which?

Some bastard scum has tried to steal my catalytic converter

thought it was just the cat getting worse and worse and was really pissed when the cat back fell off as i was driving home, especially after my mechanic told me it wouldn't drop off. i tried to reconnect it so i could get it to the shop but it just wouldnt fit together so i had to get it towed. when it was high enough the split looked strange. the tow guy said "yep some filthy gypo's had a go out it, must have been disturbed"

heres how the exhaust was hanging, any dip in the road would have done some serious damage to my car and possibly anything too close behind me as well

no since before terry had it the whole cat back section is welded together couldnt get it off particularly easily. it did feel a little tense watching the exhaust dangling like that

Thats really bad, what a bunch of low life scum, atleast they didnt get it.

Not only does lowering your car save fuel (from theft) it stops bits on your car being pinched lol.

And they say lowering a car is bad... clearly its the way forward with todays crimes! Should knock money off the insurance if you ask me. Stuff thatcham approved alarms, the lower it is the less you pay!
